Piedmont Conservation Council, Inc. (PCC) is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization that is community-based and regionally focused. PCC addresses natural resource conservation and development issues in its service area, which includes Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Guilford, Orange, Person, Randolph, Rockingham and Wake Counties of North Carolina.
To leverage people and resources for innovative projects that promote conservation and sustainable communities.
PCC works in partnership to address and implement projects that address Agricultural Sustainability, Watershed Restoration and Community & Education. PCC receives under 5% of it’s operating budget through unrestricted funding, the work PCC has accomplished since 1967 has been through the awarding of competitive grants (federal, state, local & foundations).
Donations are accepted that will help to further the PCC Mission, identify and solidify projects and increase partnerships that advance the protection and restoration of our region’s natural resources.
